August 27 - 31

Where has the year gone! I cannot believe August is over, Project 365 is flying by!

August 31, 2009: I have never in my life seen so many pizza boxes made and ready to go. And mind you, this was at 12pm!

August 30, 2009: Flat Gabe is enjoying his time at AU with Brianna and me! Here he is at the JSA board retreat, he is an honorary member of our board!

August 29, 2009: I went to Mt. Vernon with Molly, Matt, Adam, and Mira. We had a great day even in the hot muggy air!

August 28, 2009: Eli and I had to shop for our JSA retreat. We were a bit lazy and didn't want to carry the bags far so we drove onto the quad and parked by the building we needed to go to!

August 27, 2009: No, this isn't a soap dish for my travels. Its my small camera's case! I read this idea in Real Simple magazine. The hard case fits most small cameras perfectly and it is nice and hard and protects your camera!

August 17 - 26

The internet is back and so am I!

August 26, 2009: I have internet - see the full signal bar up there! I survived really well since I got here with limited internet. It is nice to be able to have a good connection again, phew!

August 25, 2009: Mindy the grill master at the FYSH BBQ - It was a fun afternoon of food and schmoozing!

August 24, 2009: And senior year begins!!! I had 2 classes today and my internship - it was a great start to the year!

August 23, 2009: And the Mezuzah is up!

August 22, 2009: Meet my kitchen-ette - the oven doesn't even open all the way! I hope this counts as my quirky apartment for my lifetime!!

August 21, 2009: All moved in and coming together!

August 20, 2009: My duvet cover is impossible to put on - it involves climbing into the duvet cover and putting the stuffing where it goes - mom took advantage of this to take a picture...

August 19, 2009: Away we go! This is a flashback to a picture from when I first went to AU for freshman year. The paper says "senior year" oh well it was so sunny you cannot read it! Think I brought enough stuff??

August 18, 2009: This is Wrinkles, he is making his Blog debut. He usually wears PJs and an AU t-shirt but they were getting a bath so he was back in his birthday suite (-:

August 17, 2009: Almost all packed and ready to return to AU for senior year....where did summer go?

July 24 - 28

Getting back into the groove, slowly but surely.

July 28, 2009: The gym got awesome new treadmills, that have touch screens, and ipod docks, so amazing! Yes I was that person taking a picture while on the machine, I am a wack job, I know.

July 27, 2009: I drove by an entire lane that was shut down for repairs, they seem to be making some progress, eh? Benefit of the doubt, it was noon, and hot so it had to be break time, right?

July 26, 2009: Shiva ended today, we needed a mindless activity to beat the heat, so we went here, makes sense, right? We got some chatzkes and had some laughs at the crap some people buy.

July 25, 2009: Looking for a box of legos for friend's kids to play with I found in a bin of dolls my first baby doll, even though I moved onto my current (yes I admit it) comfort animals, I brought her up for extra comfort during this time.

July 24, 2009: Again an old picture, sorry, no good shots nor the energy to take any.  This was Zayda and I right before I left for my freshman year at AU, so almost exactly 3 years ago.

July 18 - 23

Sorry for the delay - life took me on another journey this week.

July 23, 2009:  Another day where I had no drive to find something to photograph, this was all the grandchildren and my Bubbe and Zayda at my bat mitzvah, it was also their wedding anniversary.  My sister was 19, Josh was 15, I was almost 13, Shoshana was 6, and Yona was 4, His bar mitzvah is this fall, and we will be so sad Bubbe and Zayda won't be there to share in the simcha.

July 22, 2009: I awoke to a nice sunny morning, and there was a barge slowly turning around on the river.  It was just me and the barge out on the patio (okay I was on the patio, the barge was on the river, you get the idea) and it was a nice peaceful moment.

July 21, 2009: There is a movie shooting down the street from my uncle, Going the Distance, it was the fun part of the week to drive by and hope to get a glimpse of a star, no such luck but I did drive by while they were shooting!

July 20, 2009: We went back to our roots to bury Zayda.  We passed good old exit 36 where I grew up on our way to exit 17 and Woodbine.

July 19, 2009: Today my Zayda died.  I had no energy to take a new picture but I love this one from when I was around 7 or 8 months old, I loved him so so much.

July 18, 2009: The worst day of my summer cold, thankfully it began to get better after that, but colds are no fun!

July 13 - 17

What a busy week!

July 17, 2009: They still have pay phones, really? Wow!

July 16, 2009: We are official in our new house, our name is on the door!

July 15, 2009: I will be honest, I hate to parallel park.... really.  But in NY it is a requirement on all the main shopping streets.  I nailed this one - and didn't have pay the meter, even better!

July 14, 2009: I think it is interesting that I now live in NY and my bike is inside, and in my room.... how metropolitan.  Okay, it was also a last resort photo for the day. Hey I am honest!

July 13, 2009: I had Jury Duty today, and FG came to check out the proceedings.  I got really lucky and was released after one day! No more NY service for 6 years!
